Even this wrought iron bench has a nature theme in its branch pattern.
According to an acquaintance named Kim, this modern hotel on Disneyland Resort property
has a consistent architectural theme called Craftsman style, as do all the accoutrements inside the display cases,
the stone lamps, chandeliers, fireplace, paintings, grandfather clock, and so on.
It is the theme of lodges in old California.
Kim's explanation made me appreciate the GCH, although per se the architecture doesn't inherently appeal to me
as much as less subtle styles do.
Even the lights on the walls of the Grand Californian Hotel remind guests of nature.
Paintings on the walls leading to the Main Lobby show California nature scenes such as poppy fields and shorelines.

Main Lobby
The Main Lobby of the GCH is full of these jewel-like Tiffany lamps.
Wooden display cases in the Main Lobby hold Craftsman style vases and books.
Storytellers Cafe
The entrance to Storytellers Cafe is across from the GCH's pool entrance.
Chandeliers and friezes inside Storytellers Cafe continue the California wilderness-miners-nature theme.
Napa Rose
Napa Rose is a classy restaurant that gets very high ratings on MousePlanet.
